Shirley Manson album very "Noir"

OK, i thought I'd post about this because i forgot to when i saw Shirley Manson in Edinburgh! Yes, i was fricking star struck, when one of my idols was standing like a metre away from me with no guards barriers etc etc.

She had a public appearance at Harvey Nichols to hand over a cheque to the aids fund due to the sales of M-A-C viva glam lipstick! Kissed off or what! Anyway she was interviewed by local tv stations and she explained how her record company described her album as being very noir, which she took as a compliment and then realised it actually wasn't. Anyway here is my fave photo that i took where Shirley attacked the MAC guy with the lipstick. I dont see what the big problem is, a lot of garbage songs are very noir. I wonder just how dark they are.. Hmm Anyway heres a few of garbage's darker tracks and a facebook group to join to sign a petition.
